Behind the Ribbon: "The Rest is History" is the title of an original nonfiction television series made possible by the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation. Each episode features stories of patients, survivors and those who have lost their lives to breast cancer, an illness that will affect one in six Rhode Island women during her lifetime. For the Pawtucket-based Foundation, raising breast cancer awareness in greater Rhode Island is a year-round endeavor, a challenge to go above and beyond what is expected in October during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is during Columbus Day Weekend that the Foundation hosts Flames of Hope: A Celebration of Life™, the largest breast cancer awareness event in the Northeast. Flames of Hope Weekend, which now boasts more than 100,000 attendees, is memorable for the pink light that bathes the State House, the emotionally stirring Illuminations of Life torch ceremony and the Flames of Hope Run/Walk Series, the Foundation's largest fundraising event of the year.  For more information, please visit: www.gloriagemma.org www.ripbs.org. The Distance was an assignment for an electronic media production class in my Media Studies graduate program. The idea was to create 5 one-minute videos with a common theme. Each video should be able to stand alone while also being consistent with the collection as a whole.

Bear Market is a short (and somewhat ridiculous) narrative piece created for an electronic media production class as part of my Media Studies graduate program.  This short film is a fun little horror flick.

Effort was a music video assignment I turned in for an electronic production class as part of my Media Studies graduate program.  The class was given a week to create a music video from scratch.  In addition to the filming and editing involved, while most other classmates used music they found, I chose to write and record original music specifically for the project.
